A short list, because it is a drawing tool.

What not to make

• Anything illegal in the UK.
• Anything sexual involving children, drawn or otherwise. This is reported, not warned about.
• Material made to harass, threaten or humiliate a real person, including depicting somebody identifiable without their agreement.
• Content promoting terrorism, mass violence, or a group organised around hating people for who they are.
• Deliberate copies of somebody else's trademark, logo or protected character. A sprite in the spirit of a genre is fine. A recognisable knock-off of a specific franchise is not, and it would not be yours to use anyway.

What not to do to the service

• Do not work around the allowances. Multiple accounts, rotating addresses, or scripting the endpoint to get more free drawing than the plan gives. Drawing costs real money and one person doing this takes it from everybody else that day.
• Do not resell access, or run a service on top of this one, without asking.
• Do not attack it: no probing for holes, no denial of service, no bot traffic.
• Do not try to reach somebody else's account or data. If you find a way to, please tell us; see below.

What is fine

Worth saying explicitly, because some tools are odd about it.

• Selling games containing sprites you drew here. No credit needed, no fee.
• Using it commercially inside a studio, on any plan that includes a licence.
• Editing the JSON, feeding it into your own build, rendering it yourself.
• Drawing things that are violent, dark or unpleasant in the ordinary way games are.

What happens if you break it

For most of it, we will say so and ask you to stop. If it continues, or if it is serious enough on its own, the account is suspended or closed. For the child safety line there is no warning and it is reported to the authorities.

Sprites you already exported stay yours. We do not reach into anybody's machine.

If you find a security hole, please tell us before telling anybody else, and do not go looking through other people's data to prove it. There is no bounty because there is no money yet, but you will get a fast reply, a fix, and credit if you want it.
